Kaslo Bay Artificial Breeders Inc. is the very first fully affiliated PIC boar stud opened up in Canada. We are strategically located in low pig dense area just outside Port Stanley, Ontario. The AI unit was first populated with animals in November of 2003, and sold its first dose of semen in February of 2004.

K-Bay only accepts AI boars from one source; PIC. While some may argue that genetic diversity would be a problem when only sourcing from one party, our feeling has always been that it is in our customer's best interests health risk wise, that we maintain our status of one of the market's few single sourced AI units. In dealing with PIC, K-Bay is in strong position to have all the genetic diversity producers need in offering the PIC 337G, the PIC 280M, the PIC 327L, the PIC 380 and the PIC 410 terminal sire Lines.
